On October 2, the Social Justice Ministry distributed 662 assistive devices worth over ₹10 lakh to 114 Delhi-NCR senior-home residents, its evening PIB release said.
PTI’s October 2 report in The Patriot said September assessments matched equipment, including wheelchairs and hearing aids, to individual needs.
Minister Virendra Kumar also proposed expanding delivery across senior homes nationally and increasing PM-Divya Asha Kendras from 109 to 300. Completion was not announced.
