Commercial LPG became more expensive from October 1, with a 19-kg cylinder in Delhi rising by ₹62.50 to ₹2,810, according to independent reports by NDTV and Moneycontrol. Both distinguish the commercial revision from domestic cooking-gas prices, which remain unchanged in the cities they list.

The reports agree on a commercial-cylinder price of ₹2,983 in Chennai and ₹3,100.50 in Patna, increases of ₹66.50 and ₹71.50 respectively. Delhi’s 14.2-kg domestic cylinder remains ₹942. The commercial rise applies to businesses such as restaurants and catering operations; it does not establish that their menu prices have changed.

IndianOil’s accessible price page still showed the September commercial schedule when reviewed, including Delhi’s previous ₹2,747.50 rate. The October figures above are therefore attributed to the fresh news reports rather than described as a newly read company notice. Prices vary by city and cylinder category.
