Manipur police’s October 1 update described three separate arrests from the previous day involving alleged members of banned armed organisations. Northeast News reported the disclosure, including a police post about an Imphal West search that allegedly recovered nineteen demand letters.

Police identified the man held in that search as Khundrakpam Biren Meitei and alleged a connection to KCP (PWG). Separately, officers arrested Nepram Singhajit Singh in Imphal East, alleging he was arranging travel for recruits to the RPF/PLA. Northeast Today independently reported that September 30 arrest and the recruitment allegation.

Security forces also detained Moirangthem Boboy Singh in the Chandrakhong area, alleging involvement in recruiting teenagers for PREPAK-PRO and taking them to Myanmar. PTI corroborated that account. These are agency allegations, not convictions; the reviewed reports included no defence response. The young people’s identities are withheld. Today’s disclosure is distinct from the previously reported NIA convoy-attack investigation.
