Police questioned the additional manager of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib on September 30 in the rape investigation involving former Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee member Amarjit Singh Chawla. Ajit's local correspondent reported the questioning that day; The Times of India independently described the Wednesday appearance.

The case was registered at Sri Anandpur Sahib on August 21 under provisions relating to rape, wrongful confinement and criminal intimidation. The September 30 development concerns evidence gathering in that existing case, rather than a new complaint or verdict.

According to The Times of India, the manager described staff awareness of arrangements for the complainant's accommodation. Such reported knowledge is not proof that staff knew of an offence. DSP Jashandeep Singh Mann said information was being verified. Investigators were examining records and employee statements.

Chawla has rejected the allegations as fabricated. The inquiry remains underway; these reports establish no court finding of guilt. The complainant’s identity is protected.
