Nayara Energy raised petrol prices by ₹5 per litre and diesel by ₹3 from the early hours of October 3, PTI reported, citing people familiar with the decision. The report linked the increase to higher international fuel costs. A company spokesperson had not replied to PTI’s request for comment.
Gujarati Jagran separately reported the increases in Rajkot on Saturday morning. Its local report put petrol at ₹106.83 a litre and diesel at ₹100.66 at Nayara pumps there. Those are reported local prices, not a single rate that applies across India or to every fuel retailer.
Nayara’s published pricing policy says its petrol and diesel rates are revised in line with market changes. Its website provides a retail-outlet finder that can be searched by location or station code. Motorists should check the displayed price at their chosen pump before refuelling rather than assume another company’s quoted rate applies.
