Pranavi Urs won India’s first Asian Games women’s individual golf gold on October 3. The Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation’s results report records a four-round total of 15-under 265 at Kasugai Country Club in Aichi, Japan. The Times of India and Business Standard independently reported the victory that morning.

Urs finished with an even-par 70 after recovering from a triple bogey on the third hole. China’s Yin Ruoning and Singapore’s Shannon Tan both finished one stroke behind. The confederation reports that Yin won the silver-medal playoff, leaving Tan with bronze.

India also earned women’s team silver through Urs, Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar. Their combined total was 546, behind China’s 538; the format counted the two best daily scores from each three-player team. The individual victory and team silver are separate results from the same competition, rather than two individual medals for Urs.
