October 2 reporting described an October 1–2 overnight confrontation in Gujarat’s Aravalli district that injured three police officers and one suspect.

Police said occupants of a suspected poppy-straw vehicle fired at officers signalling it to stop. They said police returned fire.

The injured suspect was arrested and another sought, Gujarat Samachar reported. The account, including a suspected gang connection, has not been independently established.
