The Technology Development Board announced a financing agreement with Nagpur-based Multi Nano Sense Technologies on September 29. A Science Ministry release and ETManufacturing’s report that day put support at ₹37.51 crore within a ₹75.02-crore project.
The financing is optionally convertible debt, rather than an outright grant. The project combines a miniature gas-sensing element with a chip that acquires and processes its signals.
The proposed platform is intended for leak detection, industrial monitoring and safety applications, including hydrogen infrastructure. Development, integration, testing, validation and scaling are part of the funded work.
The programme aims to advance from technology-readiness level four to level nine. That describes a planned progression; the announcement does not establish that the finished platform is already commercially proven or that its performance targets have been independently validated.
