Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court on October 3 postponed the formal framing of charges in the LARA Projects money-laundering case until October 30. Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi and Tejashwi Yadav appeared for the hearing, according to ANI’s court report and Navbharat Times coverage published that day.

ANI reported that Special Judge Prashant Kumar asked the Enforcement Directorate to obtain instructions concerning the earlier court’s direction on the formal charge-framing process. The case concerns alleged laundering linked to the IRCTC hotel-tender investigation. Saturday’s adjournment followed an earlier decision to proceed with charges; it did not dispose of the prosecution.

In remarks after the hearing carried by Jansatta on October 3, defence lawyer Varun Jain described the issue as procedural. Tejashwi Yadav said they would cooperate with the court process. The allegations remain subject to trial: neither the earlier decision to frame charges nor this adjournment establishes guilt.
