Delhi Police’s Central District disclosed on October 5 that teams had apprehended 11 people during raids on two suspected fraudulent job-placement call centres near Shadipur Metro Station. The release reports six people being taken from one centre and five from the other. It describes verification and questioning, without confirming formal arrest or judicial remand for all 11.

Police say callers offered employment and collected registration or processing fees, including amounts of ₹1,200, ₹1,400 and ₹3,500. According to the release, contact with applicants was then discontinued without the promised jobs being provided. These are allegations under investigation.

The police report seizing 13 computer systems and five mobile phones, along with recruitment-related data and communication and financial records. A case has been registered at Ranjit Nagar police station. Investigators say they are tracing the organisers, the source of applicant data and the movement of money.

The original release dates the receipt or development of information to October 3 but does not separately date the raids or apprehensions. This report therefore concerns the October 5 disclosure. IANS also reported the case on Monday. No response from the apprehended people or court finding was included in the material reviewed.
