Telangana’s Chief Electoral Officer’s office told The Indian Express on October 4 that it was investigating complaints about bulk Form 7 applications. The newspaper also interviewed a Goshamahal booth officer who said he refused a batch presented in late September because the forms contained printed voter numbers but no names.
South First separately reported that a Congress election-coordination representative alleged a BJP booth agent had presented the forms at booth 173, targeting Muslim voters. These are allegations; the reviewed material establishes neither a discriminatory finding nor a completed deletion through this batch.
BJP state president N Ramchander Rao denied bulk submissions by party agents. Party spokesperson NV Subhash separately defended objections against people he alleged were non-citizens. Those claims do not establish any voter’s citizenship. The election office said it would act if targeted bulk filings were established.
Form 7 is used for a person’s own deletion request or an objection to another elector’s inclusion. The Goshamahal complaint is distinct from earlier Musheerabad allegations. The new reporting concerns interviews and the inquiry response, not an October 4 submission. The disputed originals and a written inquiry order were not available for review.
