Hisar police arrested two men wanted in the Vinod Pannu murder investigation after a firing incident on October 2 night. The Tribune’s October 3 report identifies them as Sandeep, also known as Filmy, and Anil, and says Sandeep sustained a bullet wound in his leg.
Amar Ujala’s October 2 reporting quotes Superintendent of Police Siddhant Jain on the operation near Bhiwani Rohilla. Police alleged that Sandeep fired at officers and that they returned fire. They also reported recovering two pistols and ammunition.
The arrests advance the investigation but do not establish either man’s guilt. The reports reviewed do not provide the suspects’ responses or an independent determination of the firing sequence.
