A fire broke out at a tyre factory in the Naushehra area of Shikohabad, Firozabad district, on October 4. Samvad News Agency’s report in Amar Ujala places the outbreak at around 2.30 pm in Urmura Kirar village and records the arrival of police, firefighters and local administrative officials.
Fire Officer Satendra Pandey told ANI that tenders were called from across the district. A pump at the factory had been damaged, leaving crews short of water and requiring vehicles to leave, refill and return. Hindusthan Samachar independently reported the same operational difficulty in its interview with the chief fire officer.
Later that evening, NewsTrack reported that crews had brought the blaze under control after about four and a half hours. That is the outlet’s account; the reviewed material did not include a final fire-service incident report confirming the duration or total loss.
The cause remains unconfirmed in the official account reviewed. NewsTrack described a short circuit, while Hindusthan Samachar quoted the fire officer offering a preliminary possibility involving a spark and saying the reason was still unclear. Accounts also describe the factory’s activity differently, so no specific industrial process, casualty total or final damage estimate is asserted here.
