Amangal police arrested a man on October 2 in an investigation into alleged thefts at two temples, Siasat reported. The complaints concern incidents from the previous day.
Police said silver articles, lamps, bells, copper vessels, a gold-plated item and a motorcycle were recovered.
The case was registered under BNS provisions concerning trespass and theft from a place of worship. The arrest does not establish guilt.
