Kerala Chief Minister V D Satheesan flagged off seven new KSRTC services at North Paravur on Sunday, October 4. He also inaugurated construction of a passenger waiting centre. ANI reported the launch, while a separate Times News Network account explicitly placed the event on Sunday.

According to ANI, the additions comprise five Priyadarshini ordinary services connecting Chathanad, Thattappally, Gothuruth and Puthenvelikkara with destinations including Kalamassery Medical College, Aluva, Ernakulam and Thrippunithura. Two services to Mysuru were also launched. The report does not give a complete route-by-route timetable.

Satheesan said the first phase of work on the Paravur bus stand would cost ₹4 crore, within a planned ₹10-crore development. Both reports carry the investment figures. These are statements about construction and future facilities, rather than confirmation that a rebuilt stand is ready.

ANI also reported announced start dates of October 23 for services to Palani and Madurai, and October 31 for Velankanni. Those later services should not be confused with the seven already launched. Travellers still need to confirm departure times, stops and booking arrangements with the operator.
